History

The campaign for an air ambulance service began in 2007 when a group of like minded people realised the need for a rapid response service. The fact that medical treatment in the Golden Hour could save a life is at the core of Air Ambulance Ireland’s air ambulance initiative. The Air Ambulance Ireland Trust, based in Tralee, Co Kerry, is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.
